I believe in taking a person-centered approach to meeting the unique needs of each person I meet. Therapy should always feel safe and provide each person with seeds of encouragement and empowerment that cultivates growth and change from within.
I am licensed in Nebraska with 9+ years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping individuals, couples and families with stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, trauma, abuse, family conflict, grief, anger management, major mood disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, multicultural concerns, paranoia, Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and self-love.
You and I will work together as a team to support your goal(s) of therapy. I strongly believe that you have what it takes to change the narrative of your life and break those generational patterns that have been a barrier to your story and to you making the changes you want to see. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy takes a lot courage and I am proud of you for getting started!
“Healing does not mean that you will not feel triggers or pain again. Healing is an imperfect journey where you learn how to respond to and manage your triggers in ways that are more effective and empowering for you. – Dr. Ebony Butler
“Our hearts and minds are like seeds, how we water ourselves (our hearts and mind) will in most instances determine the quality of our thoughts, feelings and emotions. – Dr. Anita Phillips
Aside from providing therapy, I enjoy hobbies like candle making and the solitude that nature/area lakes has to offer!
